I loved getting to know other guests and talking about what we loved at Hicksville

Well, my boyfriend and i came back today and in the car were discussing which trailor we want to be in next. This was my first time, and his second. We stayed for two days... one on our own, and one night with a small group of our friends. I loved getting to know other guests and talking about what we loved at Hicksville, as well as Joshua Tree and Pioneertown, as this was all new for me. We were lucky that all the guests that stayed while we were there were very friendly and cordial of one another at night. (Going off of what my friend Janey said)- So what makes Hicksville incredibly awesome? -Awesome, campy themed vintage travel trailers- we chose the Pioneer -Swimming pool, it has a deep end! I was so pleasantly surprised by this! -Hot tub -Mini golf course, themed to the trailers our group really had fun with this, great way to pass the time. - Mini Library, too cute!!! -Archery and BB gun range (available during day light hours only) -Ping Pong table & Darts -Photobooth ($5 equals 6 photos, digital prints, with Hicksville design) -Vintage arcade console -Vintage soda machine ($2 per beverage) + cool Hicksville merch! -BBQ, they have grilled utensils already there! -Fire pit+ one in the Tipi -Jukebox (unlimited free play, range of stuff)- great choices - Sunrise & Sunsets I wouldnt bring any prissy friends or people who dont like camping. I wore my boots most of the time which was perfect for the dirt and sand, and brought sandles for the pool and going to the bathroom. Most trailers DO NOT have their own toilet or shower, which means it is shared between the visitors. I had no issues with this except trying to not get wrangled into partying with my friends who were still up late when I had to pee. The toilet is in a seperate room from the shower/sink so dont worry about another trailer hogging up the whole bathroom. We brought food and a cooler, but I really loved having the option of using our mini fridge as well as the communal fridge which had a shelf for our trailer and others that dont have a full kitchen in them. They also have some condiments left behind that you are able to use, perhaps call ahead or have a friend check whats there if you are able to before arriving. As others have said, dont Geotag Be respectful of the other guests, the staff, the desert.... (just be a decent person), and you'll be fine. Have fun!
